FamilySearch Family Tree and the program it will replace, New.FamilySearch.org, are diametric opposites. If you view genealogy as a discovery of the set of all of your ancestors you can view each ancestor as occupying a specific node in your ancestral tree structure. Extrapolating that view outward,
