The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is over 7000 feet above sea level and the North Rim is over 1000 feet higher. In Arizona, that means that the winters are severe with very low temperatures, snow and ice. For me, this is the best time to be at the Canyon. The storms change the light and provide a
