When was the last time you asked for help?
When I started investigating my family, it never occurred to me that I could ask for help. I was totally unaware of classes or mentors or anything even vaguely similar. I was also unaware of any books on the subject of genealogy. Now, there is a plethora of resources aimed at the "beginner."
